Louis Gudema

Louis Gudema is a fractional head of marketing for B2B startups and SMBs; he has worked with hundreds of companies from MIT startups to IBM. He created the Bullseye Marketing Framework based on his 30+ years of marketing experience. The 2023 edition of his Bullseye Marketing was named the 2023 Best Marketing Book by Goody Business Book Awards, finalist for Best Marketing Book from the Book Excellence Awards, and one of the Best Marketing Plan Books of All Time by Book Authority.

Louis founded and led Magic Hour Communications, which initially provided marketing communications services for major companies. He then changed the company’s business model, pivoting it to become an early SaaS firm with strong recurring revenue. He grew Magic Hour into one of the top three or four companies in its national market before selling it after a dozen years. Over the next several years, Louis acted as vice president of business development at two mid-sized marketing agencies, closing and serving mainly enterprise accounts. He has closed over $30 million in B2B sales.

Louis mentors startups at MIT and leads an annual marketing boot camp for the MIT startup community. He speaks frequently on marketing and business at regional and national events and has written for such leading business sites as The Harvard Business Review, MarketingProfs, Chiefmartec, HubSpot, IDG Connect Marketer, TechTarget, VentureBeat, Econsultancy, the Content Marketing Institute and many others.
